Set up a Facebook Page for your business, providing a forum for sharing information and engaging customers – establishing a community.
Visit the 'Create a Page' page, the layout will be simple to follow.
If you are already logged into Facebook, the page you create will be associated automatically with your Facebook profile. If you're not logged in, you will either have to log in to your account or create the page under a limited business account.
Make sure to read Facebook’s “Terms of Use” when exploring all options, to help in making the correct choice and to prevent any serious violations.
Customize your page with the standard Wall and Info tabs, or use Facebook Markup Language (FBML) to acquire that personal touch.
Users and perhaps now, customers, will be impressed by what your business has to offer. Facebook, however, isn’t through with its offer. Recently, it has implemented an upgrade to its self-serve ad system with a new ad format called, Sponsored Stories.
Now if you’ve perfected your business and Facebook skills, turning users into customers who “Like” your business, this news can be spread across the Facebook wire. In simple terms, when you like something on Facebook and someone has bought an ad for it, the story will be broadcast to your friends.
In other news, Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg's (News - Alert), personal fan page was allegedly hacked, but within a short time frame Facebook was introducing two new Internet security measures.

Search Engine Optimization Process?
As such there is no fix procedure or fix steps for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) of a website. Some say follow these 7 steps while some say these are the best 10 steps, but the main point is that all the parameters should be included. According to the work done by me in Shrushti Web Solutions (SWS), I will say that SEO process can be classified into these 7 steps:
1. Keyword Research & Competition Analysis.
2. Website Design, Structure & Link Text.
3. On Page Optimization.
4. Off Page Optimization.
5. Social Media Optimization (SMO).
6. Pay Per Click Campaign (PPC).
7. Statistics Analysis.
Why did I choose Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Process?
In Shrushti Web Solutions, we were not given only one kind of work or nor we had to work on a single website or subject. The work changed continuously & according to the requirement. We had to learn all the aspects of e-marketing and practically in our day to day work. We had to learn and implement basics of e-marketing, link building, developing, maintaining the sites, brainstorming for new ideas, find new methods or sites for e-marketing, keywords research, Pay Per Click (PPC), SEO & SMO etc.
As we were exposed to such an environment on Internet & to such a responsible working environment, new ideas & teaching given all the time, I wanted to show all this in my report. Also my personal interest from the beginning was in Search Engine Optimization. I was given the task to build a web site & to do SEO of it & I worked very hard for that site & learned complete SEO procedure & brought the site in the google rankings. So I choose SEO process as my project report topic as it covers many aspects of e-marketing & I will also be able to explain it in a better way as I have practically done this.
